Rod Wells Named Chairman of Agricultural Retailers Association

Rod Wells, who has headed up GROWMARK’s supply chain efficiency initiative over the last year, was just named chairman of the Agricultural Retailers Association, also known as the ARA.

Rod Wells, who has headed up GROWMARK’s supply chain efficiency initiative over the last year, was just named chairman of the Agricultural Retailers Association, also known as the ARA.

Wells, who is the Executive Director of Eneterprise Supply Chain at GROWMARK, was installed as the new chairman of the association the the 2019 ARA Conference and Expo in New Orleans, La.

"I am humbled and honored to serve as chairman of the Agricultural Retailers Association," said Wells. "Remaining a respected public policy voice with legislators and regulators on behalf of America's ag retailers, growing and providing value to our membership, communicating at a high level, and prudently managing resources will allow the ARA to fulfill its mission well into the future."

Wells succeeds Troy Johnson of Wilbur-Ellis in the role.

"I am proud of the work our board of directors and ARA staff has done over the course of the last year and look forward to passing the leadership to a highly talented new chairman," said Johnson.
